Our History and Distinctions
Not long after Richard Park established the firm in Palo Alto in 1997, the firm began to grow when Daniel Vaughan and Hoyt A. Fleming became partners. Park, Vaughan, Fleming & Dowler LLP now includes more than 20 attorneys, patent agents and support staff members. Our firm continues to recruit the most impeccably prepared professionals in response to the needs of our clients.
We speak the same language as our clients - technologically and literally. Most of our patent attorneys and patent agents have earned graduate degrees in engineering, computer science or other disciplines, and have professional experience in the electrical and computer arts industries. They are adept in composing legal documents and preparing filings for even the most complex innovations in these fields.
